Katie Holmes reportedly infuriated cinemagoers by talking through a screening of 'Twilight Saga: New Moon'.

The former 'Dawson's Creek' star and her friends went to a movie theatre in New York to watch 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' but ruined the experience for the rest of the audience because of their constant chatter.

A source told FOX News: "Katie talked through all of 'New Moon'. It was unbelievable - they talked non-stop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realised who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie."

It is not the first time excessive noise has been a problem for a member of Katie's family.

In September, her three-year-old daughter Suri burst into tears at a Beyonce Knowles concert in Australia when the singer took to the stage to perform her hit 'Crazy In Love'.

Suri started crying, hiding her face in Katie's coat to escape the bright lights and noise.

As soon as the track was over, Katie and Suri hurried out of the stadium, returning 15 minutes later with a pair of industrial ear-muffs for the toddler.

A source said: "We were all a bit shocked when they left after the first song, but they were back before long, with Suri wearing a huge pair of earmuffs.

"She was much happier after that, and clapped and danced to the rest of the concert."
