Dita Von Teese's doggy dream

Dita Von Teese wants to be reincarnated as Elizabeth Taylor's dog.

The burlesque dancer has revealed she would love to come back to life as one of the screen legend's pets, because they live such a "wild" and indulgent life.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I think it'd be amazing to be one of Elizabeth Taylor's lapdogs! I mean, all the diamonds and watching all the people that come to her house. Being Elizabeth Taylor is pretty wild!"

The 37-year-old beauty is in awe of 77-year-old Elizabeth and cites her as one of her biggest idols.

Dita insists Elizabeth is one of the only people who has ever left her "star-struck".

She explained: "Lauren Bacall, Madonna and Elizabeth Taylor all made me starstruck when I met them. Madonna was very frightening but very kind. Before I met her, people kept asking me if I was nervous, so yes, I was nervous! The theme of these three women is they are icons."
