Jesse Metcalfe has joked Eva Longoria Parker's husband is jealous of him.
The 'Desperate Housewives' actor has filmed some raunchy new scenes with Eva for the US TV series, and laughingly claims basketball star Tony Parker is unhappy seeing his wife with someone else.
Jesse said: "He made a couple of comments early on that maybe he thought I was competition. The reality is, I am!"
The 30-year-old star - who shot to fame playing teenager John Rowland, who had a steamy affair with Eva's character Gabrielle Solis in the first series of the show - admits he still finds Eva attractive.
He added to the New York Daily News newspaper: "Eva is a hot lady. I don't know Tony that well - we've only hung out a few times - but he doesn't intimidate me."
Eva, 34, has previously insisted she is very different to her alter-ego, adding she hates wearing some of her character's revealing clothes.
She said: "I'm always saying, 'Isn't that a bit much?' to some of the lingerie. So I try on a lot of lingerie and I veto a lot.
"I have said no to some very cheeky showing underwear. I do not like to do that. And I've said no to different bras that do different things."
