Rachel Weisz is happy she is almost 40.

The 39-year-old actress isn't nervous about hitting the milestone age next March because as she has gotten older her confidence has grown.

She said: "I just think that things get easier as you get older and wiser and more experienced. You get more confident about who you are as you get older. I find that really comforting."

Rachel - who has a three-year-old son, Henry, with her filmmaker fiance Darren Aronofsky - believes her twenties were the worst decade of her life, because she was struggling to make it as an actress and find her identity.

The Oscar-winning actress added: "Being 20 is excruciating, at least it was for me. In your thirties you get more confident about who you are and that is a relief, so imagine what the forties will be like!"
