Katie Holmes wants to play a vampire in her next movie.
The 'Mad Money' actress loves watching horror films and would enjoy portraying an undead blood-sucker as long as the storyline is realistic.
Talking about her favorite type of movie, Katie said: "It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I'm not interested."
Although Katie's passion is acting, she will never put her career before her loved ones.
The 30-year-old star - who has three-year-old daughter, Suri, with her husband Tom Cruise - insists her family is the most important thing in her life.
Katie explained to Elle magazine: "In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it's like, 'How is everybody else doing?' And it's wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character." The brunette beauty - who was recently on location in Australia shooting 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' - has previously insisted it is possible to be a good mother and have a successful career.
She said: "I happen to be a woman who believes she can have it all. We women can do an awful lot if we put our minds to it. And not only that, we can have fun doing it! Even when it's crazy - which is pretty much most of the time - it's fun.
"It's a good combination for me and Tom - work and family, a healthy balance."
