Angelina Jolie thinks birthdays are the "greatest pleasure" in life.
The 34-year-old actress, who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt, loves nothing better than arranging parties for her kids so they can celebrate being one year older.
She said: "We have birthdays all year round! It's chaos but we do manage somehow - we just try to have a wonderful time. Now the older kids get involved in planning the birthdays for the younger kids. It's one of the greatest pleasures of life."
Angelina added she and Brad take their parenting duties incredibly seriously, and do their best to ensure they both spend enough time alone with each of their children.
They are also keen to give their offspring rounded educations, and have decided to teach them about every religion in the world so they can decide for themselves if they want to follow any.
Angelina added: "We're a spiritual family, although we don't belong to one specific. We're very interested in all types of religions, especially Buddhism. We discussed it and agreed that at home we will celebrate and learn about each religion."
