Nicola Roberts is going back to school. The Girls Aloud singer is using the group's current hiatus to enroll in a college course to boost her beauty knowledge to give her more technical expertise when working on her Dainty Doll make-up range.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Nicola is serious about her beauty range and doesn't want to put her name to anything she's not 100 percent sure of."
"She wants to know the ins and outs of everything, which is why she's looking into doing a course."
"The range started off as a bit of fun for the TV show 'Passions of Girls Aloud' but now she's focused on making Dainty Doll work. If that means going back to school to learn about the business, then she's prepared to do it."
While Nicola focuses on her beauty range, the remaining members of Girls Aloud are using their year-long sabbatical to concentrate on different ventures.
Sarah Harding is currently filming a new "St. Trinians" movie and hopes to land further acting roles, while Kimberley Walsh is also taking acting classes.
Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole are both working on solo albums, while Cheryl is also busy with her work as a judge on U.K. TV talent contest "The X Factor."
