Britney Spears is set to perform at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. The "Womanizer" singer - who is nominated in three categories - will appear on stage at the annual event on Sunday night at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheatre, in California.

Her performance will mark 10 years since the first Teen Choice Awards in 1999, where Britney - who is currently on a break from her world tour - was one of the performers.

The ceremony will also feature appearances from Black Eyed Peas, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Cobra Starship with Leighton Meester.

"Twilight" leads the way in nominations at the awards after the hit vampire thriller was recognized in 12 categories, including Choice Movie: Romance and Choice Movie: Drama, while its young stars have been nominated in several acting categories.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are up for Choice Movie Actor and Actress in the drama category, while Cam Gigandet is in the running for the Choice Movie: Villain.

Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner are featured in the Fresh Faces section.

"High School Musical 3: Senior Year" picked up 10 nominations, including Choice Movie: Music/Dance and Choice Movie Actress: Music/Dance for Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale.

Vanessa and her real-life boyfriend Zac Efron also feature in the Choice Movie: Liplock category.

Zac has been nominated for Choice Movie: Rockstar Moment and Choice Movie Actor: Comedy for his performance in "17 Again."

"Hannah Montana: The Movie" also nabbed 10 nominations, including Choice Movie: Music/Dance and Choice Movie Actress: Music/Dance for its 16-year-old star Miley Cyrus.
