Jerry Hall says it would be a "luxury" to find a faithful man. The 53-year-old former model - whose nine-year marriage to Rolling Stones rocker Sir Mick Jagger ended in 1999 when she discovered he had fathered a child with another woman - would consider tying the knot again if she found a different type of man.

Asked if she thought she was attracted to difficult men because her father beat her as a child, Jerry replied: "Yeah, I hope that's over. I feel excited and still hopeful about what's around the corner, about the future. It would be just heaven to remarry and have someone who didn't behave like that. That to me would be just such a luxury."

Jerry was always aware other women found Mick attractive, but she expected him to grow up when they married and had children - the couple have four kids, Lizzie, Jimmy, Georgia May and Gabriel.

She added: "I just really loved him. He walked in the room and it lit up. People threw themselves at him and I thought, 'Well, with time this will change. He'll mature.' But it just never happened."

Jerry signed a £500,000 [$820,000] deal to write her memoirs recently, but returned the money amid speculation the book wasn't titillating enough.

She refused to write about sex in the tome, claiming she still respects Mick and wouldn't want to hurt him.

She explained to Britain's The Times newspaper: "It just never dawns on me to write about intimate details, things that were emotionally hurtful. I don't share that with my girlfriends. Ladies don't talk about what happens."
