Christina Milian To Wed The-Dream

27-year-old singer Christina Milian has confirmed she is to wed musician The-Dream, who she began dating earlier this year.

She said: "We don't have any wedding plans made yet - but it hasn't already happened, that I can confirm. We just want to have our closest friends and family there - it's not going to be too big."

The-Dream, 27, is said to have popped the question with a six-carat diamond band from Ivanka Trump's range of jewellery.

The pair are already thinking about having children, but want to ensure they have achieved as much as possible with their careers before starting a family together.

The-Dream explained: "I love kids, and Christina loves kids probably more than I do. I think when you're a female in this business, it's kind of hard to do the natural thing that you want to do. You have to do your work - then whenever she makes that time for herself, she'll make that time to have a baby. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."

The-Dream was previously married to singer Nivea - with whom he has a four-year-old daughter Navy Talia - but she filed for divorce in 2007.
