Kim Cattrall has reportedly split from her long-term partner.
The 52-year-old actress' relationship with chef Alan Wyse - who is 20 years her junior - is said to have run its course after nearly five years together.
A source close to the couple told America's OK! magazine: "It was a long time coming, they had some trouble in April and since then things have fizzled out.
"They realised they were at different points in their lives. They still care about each other and will remain friends."
Meanwhile, Kim has been rocked by the news her maternal grandfather was a bigamist.
The 'Sex and the City' actress - who was born in England but moved to Canada when she was just three months old - discovered her grandfather George Baugh walked out on his family, leaving his wife and three daughters living in poverty inn Liverpool, northern England.
Kim - who found out about his actions while taking part in British TV show 'Who Do You Think You Are?', which follows stars as they trace their family history - said: "My mother and aunties were never able to grieve the loss of their father and what they missed growing up. It's an event that defined my mother. "But I was taken aback by how brazen my grandfather was in his bigamy. He started a second family just north of Liverpool, where my grandmother and his three small daughters were starving. "I am still processing how I feel about my grandfather. I am terribly sad and I can't forgive him for what he did."
