Ryan Reynolds has joked Sandra Bullock has a "bottomless well of evil" in her. The "Proposal" actor laughingly claims his 44-year-old co-star didn't have to dig too deep when it came to playing her catty character Margaret Tate in the movie.

When asked where Sandra got her inspiration for the role, Ryan deadpanned: "There is a bottomless well of evil in her. It could unleash at any moment, froth over and kill you all."

Sandra was equally as mischievous when she was quizzed on her character, but then admitted playing Margaret - who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton, played by Ryan, to marry her to avoid being deported - was easy because she loved the film so much.

She explained, "The inspiration for Margaret? You know what? I'm a b***h. In real life, I am a b***h. I am an actress and I act nice and play nice."

"Honestly, it was written up well, and when something is written like that you just bring little details and characters that you thing will help a bit."
