ELLE Red Carpet Buzz: Kirsten Dunst

The Council of Fashion Designers of America held its 2009 awards ceremony at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Monday night. Top honors went to Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez for accessories, Band of Outsiders’ Scott Sternberg and Calvin Klein’s Italo Zucchelli (a tie) for menswear, and Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy for womenswear. On the red carpet, Spiderman star Kirsten Dunst stole the spotlight in a gray hand-marbled silk chiffon and tulle minidress by the winning sisters, which she paired with gray patent buckle sandals by Nicholas Kirkwood.
