Jennifer Love Hewitt is getting engaged. The "Ghost Whisperer" actress and her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy - who recently bought each other love bracelets to show their commitment - are reportedly keen to take their relationship to the next level.
A source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: "They've been shopping for an engagement ring for Jennifer. She is simply a girl who always needs a man in her life and is getting nervous that she may miss out on marriage and having a family."
Jennifer and Jamie met on the set of 'Ghost Whisperer' in 2007, and began dating earlier this year following the 30-year-old actress' split from her former fiance Ross McCall.
Jennifer has previously spoken about her love for Jamie, 39, claiming he makes her the happiest she has ever been.
She has said: "We just make each other laugh and we're best friends. Even though we haven't been together for very long we are very much alike."
"The fact he is so hilarious is what makes this relationship work. When you're really funny, there's nothing really bad that can happen."
