Myleene Klass is set to play a cannibal in a new movie. The British TV presenter - who recently signed a $200,000 deal to host 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - is wanted by film industry power player Colin Steinberg to star in a thriller about a woman who eats her boyfriend.

Colin, who met Myleene at the Cannes Film Festival, said: "She has that golden age grace and glamour. We have spent months auditioning for a beautiful, confident British woman to take on this challenging role. I gather she is very tied up with her TV work, but we will negotiate about filming it next summer."

The mother-of-one is currently in the South of France covering the prestigious event for news channel CNN and was spotted enjoying her time off on designer Roberto Cavalli's yacht.

Myleene has been having meetings with U.S. executives in a bid to crack America and was thrilled when she landed the job to present 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

She will fly out to Costa Rica this weekend to film the three-week series which sees stars living in the jungle.

A source said: "She has been offered it but because she has to go away for the whole month she has to get out of her U.K. commitments."

"But everyone is hopeful the people she works for will be understanding as it is a great opportunity. She doesn't want to let anyone down."
