Salma Hayek is throwing a wedding party this weekend. The "Frida" actress - who wed millionaire businessman Francois-Henri Pinault in an intimate Paris ceremony in February - has invited her closest friends and family to Italy to celebrate the union.
E! News reports: "Salma's celebrity pals including Penelope Cruz and her boyfriend Javier Bardem have already started to arrive in Venice for the event."
The couple tied the knot on Valentine's Day and are now keen to make it up to those who did not attend the low-key nuptials.
Salma - who has a 19-month-old daughter Valentina with the Francois-Henri - recently vowed she would never splash out a fortune on a marriage ceremony.
She said: "I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun. I think spending millions of dollars on a wedding is ridiculous and it has never been my dream. I would never do that."
Salma and Francois-Henri - who began dating in 2006 - called off their engagement last July, but eventually decided to get back together after taking two romantic trips to the French capital.
