Hulk Hogan understands why people kill their wives. The wrestling legend - real name Terry Bollea - admits he "understands" OJ Simpson, the star who was accused of killing his wife Nicole Brown and her alleged lover Ronald Goldman in a jealous rage in 1994. OJ was found not guilty of the two murders.
Hulk is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with his wife Linda, 49, and is struggling to come to terms with her relationship with a much younger man and moving of his marital home.
The 55-year-old star told Rolling Stone magazine: "I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody's throat. You live half a mile from the 20,000 sq ft home you can't go to anymore, you're driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I totally understand OJ. I get it."
Hogan claims he was driven out of his home by Linda following the breakdown of their 25-year marriage and she has been spending his money at a rate of $40,000-a-month.
However, Linda's lawyers insist the claims against her are merely her estranged spouse's attempts to control her love life.
