Sarah Harding is planning a secret $2 million wedding to her DJ boyfriend. The Girls Aloud singer was delighted when Tom Crane proposed after two years together but is so determined to keep her big day an intimate affair she has yet to announce their engagement.

A source said: "She's so excited - she can't wait to be Mrs. Crane."

"She wants Julien Macdonald to design her wedding dress and says she doesn't mind spending big to make sure she looks special on her big day. It's going to be a huge bash at the end of the summer."

The 27-year-old singer has already asked her bandmates - Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle - to be her bridesmaids and wants the nuptials to take place at Danesfield House Hotel in Buckinghamshire, South East England.

Tom popped the question while the pair were enjoying a quiet weekend at their Buckinghamshire mansion.

The source explained to Britain's Look magazine: "Tom knows how busy Sarah is, so he planned the perfect lazy day for her. He brought her breakfast in bed and then ran her a leisurely bath."

"He didn't have a ring as he knew Sarah would want to design one herself, but he still got down on bended knee to ask her. She burst into tears."
