Dita Von Teese is recording an album. The burlesque dancer - who is famed for her raunchy Martini glass routine - has secured a contract and is currently working on her first release, which could be a cover of Irving Berlin's "Lazy."
Dita said: "I signed a deal with Interscope in Europe."
Despite contemplating a change in career direction, Dita has previously assured fans she will never give up dancing.
The striptease artist - who is divorced from goth rocker Marilyn Manson - admits previous boyfriends have tried to make her give up her job, but insists she loves performing too much to stop.
She has said: "To begin with, they all say how great my career is. But when it comes down to it, they want their careers to be more important than mine. I've had many a man ask me to quit so I can support him and be there for him all the time."
