Isla Fisher insisted on wearing five-inch heels while filming her new movie.
The Australian actress - who plays fashionista Rebecca Bloomwood in "Confessions of a Shopaholic" - thought strutting around in the towering footwear would help her get into character.
When asked if it was true she asked to wear the skyscraper shoes, Isla laughed: "I did! I thought there's something funny about a shopaholic buying ridiculously high heels and tottering through the comedy, I thought it would be amusing. It was less amusing, actually, when I had to do it every day!"
Isla - who was dressed by legendary stylist Patricia Field for the movie - wears a different outfit in almost every scene of the film, but decided against asking to keep any of the outlandish clothes.
The 33-year-old actress told BANG Showbiz: "I didn't keep anything. I loved wearing the costumes, but at the end of the day they are Rebecca Bloomwood's costumes and I felt like her in them.
"I don't know how I would have felt in my everyday life in those heels."
