Just a day after an interview with Chris Brown's father appeared on People.com, now Rihanna's father has told The Sun that the singer has broken up with Brown. Ronald Fenty said there is "some bruising" but she "will be all right."
He told The Sun: "There is some bruising. She will be alright. I think so. At some point she will speak out."
"I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."
Regarding their alleged break-up, Fenty confirmed, "The relationship is over and I am pleased. She doesn't want to speak to Chris. She is being very brave about things and said that she will be back on stage performing soon."
Meanwhile, Chris Brown's father Clinton Brown has also spoken about the incident, and has said the R&B star is "remorseful."
"This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation. Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip."
"He needed some time to get his thoughts together and regroup,"
Brown, 19, allegedly attacked Rihanna, 20, in Los Angeles last weekend after a pre-Grammy's party. He also released his first statement, saying he is "sorry and saddened."
