Marisa Tomei doesn't need to have children to feel "complete." The "Wrestler" actress insists she is fulfilled even though she hasn't started a family and doesn't understand women who crave motherhood.

She said: "I don't know why women need to have children to be seen as complete human beings."

Marisa - who previously romanced Robert Downey Jr. and is now in a relationship with Logan Marshall Green, who is 12 years her junior - also admits she isn't interested in tying the knot.

The 44-year-old star added to Manhattan magazine: "I'm not that big a fan of marriage as an institution."

Marisa, who plays a single mother working in a strip bar in "The Wrestler," has received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for the role.
