Renee Zellweger has a crush on a U.S. president. The unlucky-in-love actress has confessed her dream man is the 39th leader of America Jimmy Carter, now 84, because he pens his own verse.
She said: "I have a crush on Jimmy Carter. I admit it. He has an extraordinary mind. He's an exceptional human being. And he writes poetry, for crying out loud. He's all good things."
Renee, 39, recently demonstrated her Carter devotion by waiting for two-and-a-half-hours on a freezing cold Manhattan street for the former president to sign her copy of his latest book, "We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land: A Plan That Will Work."
While the smitten star says the Nobel Peace Prize winner was worth it, she wishes she'd put similar time into planning her outfit.
She said: "It was super-cold. I thought he was going to speak or read from his book, but he signed. And that was enough. I was not expecting two-and-a-half-hours in four inch heels. That, I did not plan for."
