Craig Morgan has made it very clear that he wants to be in movies. The country singer recently said he would never pass up an opportunity to increase his fan base, especially if it offers him the chance to do something he has always wanted to do.
"I think acting would be fun," Morgan says. "I see guys like Jackie Chan and Chris Rock and some of the stuff that they do and think, 'God, I'd love to hang out with those guys and make a movie with them!'"
Morgan admits he doesn't know a lot about acting, but he doesn't have to go too far to get some help with his craft. He has an inside track right in his own home. He may be able to take a few lessons from his kids, who are a step ahead of him when it comes to showing their acting chops. Morgan says he has kids that are taking acting lessons, so rather than pay to take classes himself, he lets them go. The kids then come back and teach him everything they've learned.
Morgan is hoping a good role will come his way soon but while he's waiting, he will watch his new single on the charts. "God Must Really Love Me" follows his debut single for RCA, "Love Remembers." Both singles are from his first album for the label, "That's What."
