The William Morris Agency has announced that it has signed former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice as a client. The former professor has been in the Bush administration since its beginning but her appointment ended Tuesday afternoon when Barack Obama was sworn in as president.
There was much competition to try and nab Rice as a client. She was very thorough about the process and ultimately her goal was to choose the agency she would feel most comfortable with, speaking on her behalf.
While it is not entirely clear in what direction Rice intends to go, her deal with William Morris includes representation for books, lecture appearances, philanthropic and business initiatives in media, sports and communications. Among her well-rounded resume, Rice is an accomplished pianist as well as being a a National Football League fan.
The William Morris Agency will help her create and enhance an agenda that is very important to her in her post-government career.
