Anne Heche is having a baby boy. The "Nip/Tuck" star has confirmed she is expecting a son with her partner James Tupper and is very excited by the news.
Her spokesperson said: "They are thrilled."
Anne - who has six-year-old son Homer from a previous relationship - sparked rumors about the sex of the baby earlier this month when she apparently couldn't keep the news under wraps.
A source said: "She told people she was having a boy. They were so excited to be picking things out for a little boy."
Anne met actor James on the set of her U.S. TV show "Men In Trees" in 2006 when she was still married to ex-husband Coleman Laffoon.
James has previously said of their relationship: "In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way. I think we both made decisions that were based on the relationships we were in."
"I wish people could meet her in person. She has such a sparkle and such a love for people, and she works so hard. She is so dedicated to all the good things."
Before marrying Coleman, Anne was romantically linked to U.S. TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
