Teen sensation Miley Cyrus will spend New Year's Eve in a high school gym. The singer isn't performing a scene from "High School Musical," but it's her own New Year's Eve show for MTV.
"A Miley New Year's Eve," beginning at 8/7c on MTV, will not only include performances by Miley but will also honor a student who has spent the year volunteering for a greater cause.
E! News is reporting that that teen is Alison Kaprielian, a senior at Beckman High School in Irvine, California, who has dedicated her time working for the Pink Ribbon Club for breast cancer awareness. Kaprielian's selfless work has won her a New Year's Eve to remember.
Miley, and her BFF Mandy Jiroux, surprised Kaprielian at her house on Tuesday and then spent the day with her. Now it's on to a giant party in the gym of Beckman High School Wednesday night. Thanks to Kaprielian's dedication to the Pink Ribbon Club, everyone attending the New Year's Eve party must wear pink - guys and gals.
