Ben Stiller Breaks His Hand In Snowboard Accident

'Tropic Thunder' star Ben Stiller,was rushed to New York's Mount Sinai Hospital on Sunday (12.21.08) where he was treated by specialist doctors determined to ensure his hand returned to full health.

A source said: "One of the hospital's top hand specialists was called in to treat him."

A representative for the 43-year-old actor would not expand on the seriousness of the injury, only saying: "I can confirm that he broke his hand snowboarding."

Ben is not the only actor to damage his hand this year. Shia LaBeouf caused rewrites in new movie 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', after he broke his hand in a car accident.

The actor's injury was incorporated into the film sequel by director Michael Bay.
