Britney Spears won't be taking her show on the road until next year, but she's already getting a leg up on some international travel. The pop princess, who just reached #1 in the States with her album Circus, is in Japan and is keeping her fans updated on her website with pictures and anecdotes about the trip. "I love Japan! I think all the tiny cars are so cute," she says.
"We just visited the oldest Buddhist temple. It was so beautiful," she added. The oldest Buddhist temple she's referring to is the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, where Spears has posted pictures of herself in front of the famed site. She's also been shown shopping and enjoying sushi in Tokyo, and has also revealed that she's visited Japanese gardens.
But it hasn't been all play and no work for Spears. She performed her #1 single "Womanizer" on the show "Hey! Hey! Hey!", which is already making the rounds on YouTube and is scheduled for another appearance for "NTV Best Artist 2008." Another award under her "Lace and Leather" belt?
While Britney's gone Japanese, her fans stateside await the start of her new tour, "The Circus starring Britney Spears," which kicks off March 3rd in her hometown (or close enough) of New Orleans, Louisiana.
