Brad Pitt insists his mustache is fashionable. The actor has been sporting the facial hair for his role in Quentin Tarantino's new movie "Inglorious Bastards" and says despite criticism from fans, he is happy with his new look.

He said: "It's fashion. Who am I without creative facial hair? I consider it very brave."

After learning George Clooney is also sporting facial hair, Brad claims it is because his close friend is desperate to be like him, and predicted the actor will soon start a family.

Brad - who raises three biological and three adopted children with partner Angelina Jolie - joked: "I cannot get this guy out of my slipstream. He calls me up and wants to know what I'm wearing - and then he shows up in the same thing. Next thing you know he's going to have six kids. Just got to tell you it's getting really old."

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Brad and Angelina's Jolie-Pitt foundation has donated $100,000 to the Global Action for Children charity, with fund bosses hoping their generosity will pave the way for others to donate.

Chief Executive Jennifer Delaney is quoted as saying: "With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world."

"Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child."
