Peaches Geldof's marriage is reportedly on the rocks after the British socialite hired her ex-boyfriend to work on her magazine.

The 19-year-old star - who wed Chester French drummer Max Drummey in August - is said to have infuriated the musician by employing The Horrors frontman Faris Rotter, who she split from days before marrying Max, as the chief artist on her publication, Disappear Here.

A source said: "Peaches and Max have a fiery relationship, and one of the sticking points is that she is still close to Faris."

Peaches is now said to be trying to encourage a friendship between Max and Faris to take some of the heat off her.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She arranged for all three of them to meet in London to become friends. It was awkward but Max is trying to keep her on side by being friends with him."

"Peaches is a free spirit. She always has and always will do exactly what she wants. Max will have to accept her for who she is."
