Anne Hathaway wants to get married. The "Bride Wars" star - who split from long-term boyfriend Raffaello Follieri earlier this year - hopes to settle down one day but admits her previous experiences have left her wary of commitment.
She told U.S. TV show "Access Hollywood": "Sometimes I find myself somewhere and I'm just like, 'Oh, it'd be really fun to get married here.'"
"I really don't know what that says about me but I try not to anticipate things before they happen - especially things that I would like very much to have happen."
"Of course, like everyone, I'm kind of going through a moment where I'm like, 'Do I even believe in marriage?' 'What's going on?' You know, as you do when you're fresh from a break up."
"I do think eventually someday - if I met the right person - I would get married."
Meanwhile, Anne, who is now dating actor Adam Shulman, was stunned when a date with her fetched $12,000 at a charity auction.
Explaining her lot at the Cracked Xmas Fundraiser in Los Angeles on Sunday, the 26-year-old beauty said: "I'm not usually very forward, but I thought if there was ever a crowd for me to do something like this, this is my crowd so I would like to auction myself off for drinks somewhere fabulous and basically get you totally s**tfaced. Tell me what I'm worth."
As bidding at the Trevor Project auction increased, the embarrassed star said: "I'm blushing. Wow, I feel really good right now."
The winning bid belonged to three friends, who clubbed together to win an evening with the actress.
The Trevor Project is a crisis helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people.
