Gemma Arterton's rumored ex-boyfriend has denied the pair were ever in a relationship. Friends claimed the 22-year-old "Quantum of Solace" star dumped 19-year-old Spanish stuntman Eduardo Munoz last weekend after a six-month romance.
However, Eduardo has insisted he and Gemma - who met on the set of her latest movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" - were only ever "just good friends."
He said: "We met as colleagues and became friends but nothing else."
It had previously been claimed Eduardo was left crushed by the relationship breakdown.
A source said: "Gemma is 22 and Eduardo is only 19 - they were too young to settle down. She says she doesn't have time to commit to a relationship. Eduardo is devastated."
The unlikely romance began when Eduardo was assigned to teach the British beauty to ride a horse for the film. When shooting moved to England, Gemma reportedly insisted Eduardo relocate too, even moving him into her North London home.
The source said: "His English improved but Gemma told me when they could talk to each other properly they had very little in common."
