Former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash, along with his wife Perla Hudson, have released a short video to show their support for gay marriage.

In the video clip, Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, has spoken out against Proposition 8 of California State ballot. The preposition amended the state Constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to opposite sex.

The video clip shows Slash playing the American national anthem ''The Star-Spangled Banner" on guitar. In the background his wife, Perla Hudson speaks in favor of gay rights. "Say no to hate and yes to equal rights. Keep up the fight," she says in the video.

The video clips ask people to participate in protests against Proposition 8 and support gay rights. The Proposition 8 officially says "Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry."
