Not able to just sit back and relax while ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift takes jabs at him, the Jonas Brothers' Joe is now speaking out against his alleged scorned ex.
Although they did not name the teen country singer, the brothers - Joe, Kevin, and Nick - have taken aim at Swift for the recent interviews she made.
During Swift has told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that Joe broke up with her during a "27-second" phone call. She also said in another interview that "10,000 BC" actress Camilla Belle is the reason for their split.
Joe writes on their MySpace blog, "I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed."
"I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me."
He also refutes the infamous short phone call he allegedly made to break up with her.
He continues, "For those who have expressed concern over the '27 second' phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did."
"A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call."
Joe also says that he attempted to get in touch with Swift, but he got no response.
