Vince Vaughn doesn't believe in polygamy as it brings "triple the headaches." The unmarried actor doesn't understand the concept of having multiple wives as he thinks it would just complicate his life.

He said: "It's triple the headaches. Triple the nagging. Triple the question, 'What are you thinking?' You have to pick out three sets of blinds."

The 38-year-old star adds he loves talking his friends' romantic lives and neuroses as he often draws on their experiences when he is acting.

Vince - who added some of his funniest characters have been based on real people - told Esquire magazine: "I have friends in real life, the way they see stuff, they can be so narrow in their perspective, it makes me laugh. You could have a friend who's dating someone and he can get hung up on the smallest thing."

"If I take an extreme, absolute position, that becomes funny. Because the reaction doesn't warrant the reality."
