Cheryl Cole "loves" Britain's royal family. The Girls Aloud singer has joined a host of other famous faces - including former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Lulu - in wishing Prince Charles a happy 60th birthday for Friday and also revealed she is a keen supporter of the royals.
She told Britain's Hello! Magazine: "I love the royal family and would like to wish Prince Charles a happy birthday and congratulations."
"We met him two years ago at the Royal Variety Performance. He was very sweet and charming. He said how much he liked Girls Aloud, but I think he was just trying to be flattering. He was very approachable and friendly and he told me he was pleased to meet us!"
Geri Halliwell - who famously pinched the prince's bottom and told him he was "very sexy" when she met him at his 50th birthday party - was equally as glowing about Charles.
She said: "I wish His Royal Highness a fabulous year ahead. I remember sitting next to him at the premiere of 'Spice World.' He was very complimentary. When I sang Happy Birthday to him 10 years ago, I was terrified!"
Singer Lulu revealed she loves the prince's sense of humor, adding she didn't realize how funny he was until she met him.
She said: "Prince Charles really made me laugh. We're the same age and he told me that I must be the picture of Dorian Gray! He said it a couple of times and he was very funny, talking about our ages, telling me I looked young and joking about it."
