Pregnant Rebecca Romijn is wearing a bra all the time in a bid to save her "puppies."

The 36-year-old actress - who is expecting twin girls with her husband, actor Jerry O'Connell - is desperate to prevent her breasts from losing their shape, but is finding it hard to cope with her ever-expanding stomach.

She said: "I can't move anymore... I'm a beached whale! I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I'm not taking any chances. I'm determined to keep the puppies up!"

Rebecca - who split from first husband John Stamos in 2004 - also revealed she has always wanted children.

She added to Page Six magazine: "I desperately wanted kids. I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I've always dreamed about decorating my baby's nursery."

Rebecca, who is due to give birth before the end of the year, recently revealed she wants to call one of her daughters after legendary country singer Dolly Parton.

Jerry later joked he would like to call the other baby Cher in tribute to the "Believe" singer.

He said: "What about Dolly and Cher? It's like they would be destined for stardom."
