Mel B won't release songs about her ex-lover Eddie Murphy because she has "moved on."

The former Spice Girls singer, who is currently working on a solo album, has changed her mind about revealing details of their bitter split and decided to drop tracks "Second Hand Lover" and "Reflections In A Broken Mirror."

Mel told New! magazine: "I was keen to keep those songs in and then I thought, 'Why am I giving this jerk any reference? I have moved on!'"

Earlier this year, Mel revealed she wanted to get her revenge on Eddie by penning hate-filled songs about him.

The 33-year-old singer was keen to vent her frustration at the "Beverly Hills Cop" star because she claims he rarely sees the pair's 18-month-old daughter Angel Iris.

Mel said: "The working title on my new song is 'Beverly Hills C**k' because that is what he is. He never bothers with his daughter. I mean, what kind of man is that?"

However, Mel later admitted she may have to tone down the lyrics after Eddie's lawyers said they wanted to listen to the LP before it was released.

Eddie dumped Mel on a Dutch TV show while she was pregnant with Angel, and then questioned the paternity of his baby. A DNA test later proved he was the father.
