Amy Poehler has given birth to a boy. The "Saturday Night Live" comedienne welcomes her first child with husband Will Arnett on Saturday.
Newborn Archie Arnett weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., the couple's rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.
Poehler's co-anchor during the "Weekend Update" segment on "SNL" announced that she wasn't in the show "because she is having a baby."
Poehler, 37, and Arnett, 38, revealed their pregnancy in April. It was also announced that when the funny lady won't be coming back to "SNL" after she gave birth as she would be starring in a new NBC yet-untitled primetime comedy in the spring.
