Uma Thurman's stalker has been found guilty of harassing the actress. Jack Jordan, 37, showed no emotion as a New York City court convicted the former psychiatric patient of fourth-degree stalking and second degree aggravated harassment yesterday.

After his ruling Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro said: "I've learned some disturbing things about this defendant during this case. I am going to remand him for a psychiatric exam."

Jordan, an out-of-work lifeguard, will next appear in court on June 2. Uma had no comment on the verdict, her spokesperson revealed.

Jordan - who had been accused of stalking the 'Kill Bill' star from January 2005 to the summer of 2007 - now faces up to 90 days in jail for stalking plus a further year for aggravated harassment.

Last week, Uma told the Manhattan State Supreme Court she was "completely freaked out" by Jordan and said his alleged harassment of her had been a "nightmare."

She recounted one incident where Jordan had delivered her a card showing a picture of an open grave and a man standing on a razor blade, bearing the message, "My hands should be on your body at all times."

Uma said: "I was completely freaked out. It was like a nightmare. It was scary."

The 38-year-old actress also told the court about an email Jordan had sent her insisting her two children - nine-year-old Maya and six-year-old Levon Roan - do not exist, and referring to them as "an illusion."

She added: "I don't think any mother or parent would want a stranger to fixate on their children, and fixate on them not existing. That was terrifying to me."
