Uma Thurman wants a boy toy. The 36-year-old actress, who recently split from her 48-year-old hotelier boyfriend Andre Balazs, insists she is now on the look out for a younger man.
She said, "I know women who like to have 'boy toys' - and actually I could grow into that." Uma admits she usually goes for older men they can offer her "guidance" and "superior wisdom", but claims her success and fame puts a lot of potential dates off.
The 'Kill Bill' star - who has two children from her failed marriage to ex-husband Ethan Hawke - is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying, "It's hard to get a date as a famous woman. There are different kinds of men. Some feel very emasculated around a woman that is too fully formed and some don't."
Uma played a woman who dated a younger man in the film 'Prime' and she recently admitted it was her role in the movie that gave her the idea to find a toy boy.
She said at the time, "I haven't been out with many younger men so I don't know what that's like. It made my job in 'Prime' a lot of fun. The freshness, that green boyishness, I felt professionally what it might feel like personally. Why not? To be with a man who hasn't tried every line, who hasn't broken up with a woman every which you can break up with them is kind of nice."
