Daniel Meade may not be able to survive well without his trusty sidekick Betty on the ABC hit comedy "Ugly Betty," but in real life the actor who plays him is doing just fine. Eric Mabius, who plays Daniel, recently announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child.
Mabius told the Associated Press that he and his wife Ivy Sherman are expecting a baby, but do not know yet if it is a boy or a girl.
Mabius said he got the good news about the new baby while on set filming "Ugly Betty."
His wife, who is an interior designer, showed up and surprised him with the news.
The couple already have a 1-year-old son named Maxfield Elliott.
