It seems like celebrities are getting arrested left and right these days.
The latest star who has been added to the list is Ty Pennington of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Ty was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence. As in most related cases, he was released a short while later after posting bail.
Since the embarrassing incident occurred, the TV host and real-life carpenter says he regrets getting behind the wheel after getting a little too boozy.
He told television show "Extra," "I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call.
"I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."
His manager has yet to comment.
Ty is set to appear before a judge on June 4 - the day before Paris is sent to jail.
