Tori Spelling says she "loves gays."
The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' and recent reality star says that she is a huge fan of homosexuals and is proud to be a gay icon. She revealed in a recent interview, "I'm a huge fan of gays. They love me and I love them. They consider me kind of a gay icon, which they've labeled me as."
Spelling confessed that the reason she agreed to star in her new movie "Kiss the Bride" to please and reward her loyal gay fans. She says, "It was probably one of the top things that made me want to do the movie."
Spelling plays Alex, the fiance to a man named Ryan. Her soon to be husband once had a homosexual fling in high school with his friend Matt. When Matt learns the two are engaged to marry, he shows up to convince his friend Ryan that he is making a mistake.
The movie co-stars Philipp Karner and James O'Shea, along with Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott. The movie hits theaters on Friday.
