Like all new mothers, Tori Spelling is dealing with her changed body. Like all celebrity mothers, she has a plan to get the weight off quick.
The new mom to son Liam has revealed her diet secrets, which she hopes will make her drop 40 pounds.
The reality TV star told "Entertainment Tonight," "I gained 40 lbs. I'd like to get back to the weight I was at [pre-pregnancy], which was probably around 115."
Rather than go on a crash diet or jump into frantic exercise, Tori has signed up for a food delivery diet program, NutriSystem. She has also been seen going on jogs with her husband, Dean McDermott.
This is the first diet for the Hollywood heir, who claims to have been relatively oblivious to her weight before her pregnancy.
She continued, "I've been lucky. I don't know if it was genetics or age. I would eat healthy at times and pig out at times, but I never had to go on a strict diet plan."
Although she is ecstatic about motherhood, it was definitely the body changes that affected Tori the most.
She said, "I went back and forth. I would have some days where I would feel really proud of my tummy and walk in front of a mirror and be amazed by it... and I'd have some days where I felt like a whale. I gained weight in places that I didn't know I could ever gain weight in."
Since she stopped eating for two, Tori has also reconciled with her estranged mother, Candy Spelling.
