While baby showers are usually reserved for just female friends of the mommy-to-be, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcomed both genders to their pre-baby party, ensuring their unborn son was surrounded by men.

Spelling, who is due in April, revealed to PEOPLE she plans to name her first born after her late father, Aaron.

McDermott, who has a son from a previous marriage, said, "We're so excited to share this special time with our friends. We can't wait to meet the little man. We feel him kicking all the time and we're so eager to finally see him."

While the "Beverly Hills: 90210" star's mother, Candy, was not in attendance after a bitter falling out, former co-stars Jennie Garth and Loni Anderson showered the blonde with gifts.

The actress and original Hollywood heiress said that while she has enjoyed being pregnant, she is getting excited about the end.

She said, "I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth. I can't wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms."

The party-planned get-together was co-coordinated to match the little tot's nursery.

Jo Gartin, of Love Luck and Angels, who organized the event said, "They wanted the party colors to mimic their baby's turquoise blue and chocolate brown nursery."

Spelling and McDermott met while working together in Canada when they were both married to other people.
