Another baby shower could be in order for Tori Spelling - one that her estranged mother is invited to.
Candy Spelling, the star's mother, has revealed to PEOPLE that the pair are currently working out their differences.
The soon-to-be grandmother says she has contacted Tori in an effort to bridge their gap, which allegedly came to a halt with the VH1 reality show "So NoTORIous" and worsened after the death of TV producer Aaron.
Candy told PEOPLE, "We have been in touch with each other and are in the process of communicating and working things out."
Tori's brother, Randy, has confirmed that the mother and daughter are forging a friendship.
He added, "My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks. They are going to be there for each other and [Tori's soon-to-arrive] baby. My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective."
Randy revealed the reconciliation is something both women want.
He said, "No matter what, we are family, and they're resolving things and getting back together. They are communicating, and it makes both of them happy. It's definitely a mutual thing."
But it is the impending arrival of a new Spelling family member that has given the relationship some urgency.
Randy concluded, "You always have that motherly instinct. People can fight, but they love each other."
