Dido wants to put her singing career on hold to become a drummer. The "White Flag" singer hopes to swap her microphone for drumsticks after playing the percussion instrument on her new album Safe Trip Home.

She said: "Drumming made me listen to music differently - especially when I started playing along with things. I would do this thing of playing along with my iPod."
