Tony Romo: Dating Jessica Makes One Fearless

Tony Romo says dating Jessica Simpson makes a man fearless. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback jokes about his current girlfriend after he received Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun Fearless Male of the Year Awards when it was pointed out that his girlfriend's former flames were also honored by the magazine.

"I guess you date Jessica Simpson, that makes you fearless!" Romo tells People.com Monday. Simpson's ex boyfriend John Mayer and her rumored former boyfriend Dane Cook also made the cut.

And if those weren't enough yet, last year, the 27-year-old actress/singer's ex husband, Nick Lachey, was the magazine's Fun Fearless Male.

Meanwhile, Romo had denied reports that he got engaged with Simpson.

"I mean, it's just rumors. That's what people say."
